Low running and purchase costs
The building is new, so there are no plans or needs for repairs in the near future — giving predictable shared costs. Strict energy requirements mean low heating bills and a comfortable indoor climate. When buying a freehold flat under construction where the building counts as a new build in full, stamp duty of 2.5% applies only to the share of the site value — not the whole price.

Great shared spaces
New projects often feature shared roof terraces, landscaped green areas, bike and ski storage and sometimes common lounges or guest flats.

Tailor your own home
Buy early and the options process lets you influence flooring, surfaces, kitchen and tiles — perhaps even move a wall.

Modern solutions, high standard
Every square metre is used more efficiently, with plenty of daylight, good balconies and strict requirements for materials and building methods. A healthy, easy-care home that is cheap to run.

Five-year complaint period
Under the Housing Construction Act you get a five-year complaint period and a statutory guarantee (§ 12) when buying a home under construction.

More time for the good things
No lawn to mow, house to stain or snow to shovel. Move straight in and spend your time on what you enjoy.

A sound investment
The price is agreed at signing, but you normally pay only 10% then — the rest on completion. If prices rise during construction, your home may have gained value before you move in.
